I am looking after edge string machines, to reduce tangles what is the best string adjustment? On the ES controller I usually get a range between 14 and 20 on the adjust number. Does this have any relevance to optimum pin height when in string adjust mode? If it is relevant what number should I be trying to achieve?

I can see this being a great asset for family fun centers that do not require any sanction,... but as a Brunswick "A" series mechanic for 20 yrs,........ this would put me out of a job. I can see that having to rotate pins around from the 1,2,3,7 & 10 weekly will be a major pain in the ass if you ask me where as to "free fall" they just go where they end up. If my boss was to tell me that he was switching to strings,........... my 2 weeks notice will be on his desk. I have a few friends that have bowled on strings and they DO NOT like them at all. I have been told that there are way to many string assisted strikes and spares causing averages to go up by anywhere from 5 to 10 pins and handicaps to drop like a rock and anyone know when it comes league/tournament bowling,...... handicap is key.

Just out of curiosity, will a shoe with a higher heel make you slide more since theres an uneven pressure? for example the C9 knits compared to the sst8 power frame boa. would i slide more with the c9 knit because of the higher heal and the center of gravity is more on the front by a little? im a 2 handed bowler and dont want too much slide but im trying to get out of foot planting, so im trying to determine what would be better.

It doesn't prevent a ball from dying. It just delays it. There needs to be long term tests. Will this ball stored in this bag for 6 months perform the same as ball just made from the manufacturer?

Kind of hard to find a shoe that fits properly when Manufacturers refuse to make wider width shoes.

Stringsetters are good for the alley owners but are horrible for the sport. You shouldnt be able to make the 7-10 as often as you can with them

I love how youtube videos seem oblivious to how bad most pro shops are. Maybe not bad, but lazy. I can only speak for my area of FL. You would think PAP is illegal or if they drill anything other then a normal straight hole they will be punished. I see all these pro shop videos online of what pro shops should be doing, but very few do any of it. I have even heard some people in these videos say show them video so they can learn.... I can only imagine the response I would I get doing that LOL.

As an avid bowler for 30+ years .....Not sure I'd like to see this sport turned into an Arcade Game?? I mean why not take the players off Football fields and put Metal Men out there? Why spend all that money on Free Agents...Plus(AND AS ALWAYS) the OWNERS will benefit!
